Request a copy of your personal data
Updated
You can ask for a copy of the personal data held on your account, or ask us to delete it, without emailing anyone.
## Ask for a copy
In the client portal, open **Requests** and choose the data access request. It records the request against your account and asks us to compile the export and send it to your verified account email address.
You will see the request in **My Requests** with its status. Only one open data request can exist at a time; if one is already open, the page tells you and you can follow that one.
We respond within one month, as UK GDPR requires.
## Ask for deletion
Account deletion is a reviewed request, not an instant button. The portal asks you to confirm that you understand the request will be reviewed before anything is removed, and records it against your account.
Deletion is reviewed because some records have to be kept: invoices and financial records for statutory periods, and anything needed to resolve an open dispute. Where a record must be retained, we tell you what and why.
## What is included
Your profile and contact details, your plan and billing history, your tickets and requests, your AI history and the documents and drafts you have stored. Content you deleted earlier is not reconstructed.
